Boston University Transfer Chances

I’m currently a freshman at University of New Hampshire and am trying to transfer to Boston University for fall 2017. I’m in the college of engineering as an undeclared undergrad, but applied to BU for mechanical engineering. Fall 2016 semester I took 17 credit hours. Calc. I (4 credits), Physics I (4 credits), Micro Econ. (4 credits), Intro to Engineering Design (4 credits), and a engineering seminar course (1 credit). This current semester I’m taking Chem. for engineers, Calc. II, Honors Philosophy, and English. I’m wondering what my chances are of getting accepted to Boston University as a transfer student.

My stats are:
College GPA: 3.58
HS GPA: 3.40
Member of the University Honors Program
I’ve also started my own non-profit organization, and been involved in a sustainable energy project since 2013.

Please help!!!

No too sure what their policies on transferring are. I do know that they accept transfers for school of engineering, so I would say you’re shot is about 50/50 since your GPA is a little above their average, but you still are in college instead of high school. Your EC starting non profit by yourself? If yes then it will raise your chances greatly, but if it was a group thing it own’t help as much. Good Luck!
