Not really. BC has been top for a long time. But NEU has been on an upward trajectory, while the others haven’t changed much.

Neu offers merit aid. Bc doesn’t.
This is a big plus if you don’t qualify for fa.

Even though BC is undoubtably higher in rankings, I know a lot of close friends that turned down BC and chose Northeastern. BC just doesn’t offer aid like NEU does, and their campus is a lot different.

BC is more of a suburban campus. Northeastern (FYI, Northeastern doesn’t go by the NEU moniker anymore) has more of an urban campus.

Plenty of students still call it NEU, fyi.

Cool story. Northeastern still doesn’t go by NEU anymore.

Even if they officially changed it, basically everyone I know still says NEU instead of NU. This includes me, and I became a student AFTER they started the push towards NU. I don’t see NU becoming commonplace anytime soon.

Aren’t you a BC alum? Meaning you don’t go to Northeastern, work at Northeastern, visit Northeastern, receive Northeastern e-mails… So really, you only know what’s on the internet.

The website might say “NU” or “Northeastern”. But if the students, professors, advisors, tour guides and alumni pretty much all say “NEU”, then Northeastern still goes by NEU.
