Bother retaking?

So I got a 1920 my first try, and a 2030 the next.

Here are my updated scores:
710 Writing (up 100pts, but 9 on the essay, up from 1pt from the last time ... I got an 11 on the ACT essay and I thought they were scored the same way, I actually thought my SAT essay was better than my ACT one, haha)
620 Math (same as before ...)
700 CR (10pts up)

So I'm not really knowledgeable when it comes to SAT scores and what is "good." I'm really happy with my overall score, but my math can be better (it's 50pts under the 50% range of the schools I want to apply to: Colby, Middlebury, Brown, etc. according to collegeboard)

I got a 30 on Math for my ACT (retaking because I got nothing to lose by trying to up my science, hoping for a 32). Since I'm retaking the ACT and expecting 30+ on the math, should I bother retaking the SAT to try and up my math score?

Thanks for you input!

Chances are, you won't get into Brown with anything less than a 2200 SAT or 32/33 ACT. Colby is easier--you'll have a decent shot with a 2100 SAT or a 31 ACT. Retake whichever test you think you'll score better on. There's no boon to having both ACT and SAT scores.

i think 2200 is a little high. maybe anything less than a 2100 you wouldn't really have a realistic shot, but you never know.

Thanks for the input.

So do you think I'll be okay with just retaking the ACT? I never know with this stuff.

There is no definite cut off for SAT scores.
I have friends with barely 2100 who got into Yale, MIT, Stanford, etc.
You should also consider your other assets, like essays, recom, extracurriculars, ethnicity (ie minority), or home geography (are you from Iowa?)
