<p>So today I was walking through the Infinite Corridor because I'm visiting my girlfriend (Caltech is done but MIT isn't, gloat gloat [she says mmggrrrrr]) and I saw the infamous Jones^2 office door, and decided to drop in to visit our partners in crime in the east. So (cue hyperventilation) I got to meet Ben Jones!!! (and Matt McGann, too, whee).</p>

<p>But seriously, it was nice to meet after talking so much online. You guys do a really excellent job of making yourselves transparent to the students applying as well as to the rest of the admissions community. Kudos to you. </p>

<p>I was thinking, too, that since Caltech has students on the admissions committee, it would be kind of silly not to follow MIT's lead in having some admissions blogs to open up the process some more. So I think I'll pitch that idea to our Director of Admissions.</p>
