<p>The</a> Trinidad News: Emma Lawless bound for Princeton</p>
<p>"Trinidad High School senior Emma Lawless is a very busy girl, so it was not surprising that it was already 9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, before she could log into Princeton University's website from her home computer.</p>
<p>The answer she had been awaiting was a big yes, and now Lawless will be the recipient of a Mary John Goree full scholarship to Princeton for students from Las Animas County. </p>
<p>Lawless loves chemistry and physics, but she's also very interested in foreign languages, and has studied French, Spanish and Italian. But it's music that has long been her passion. "I'm a huge fan of rock," she says, "but I like all kinds of music, really everything except country." </p>
<p>Having attended a recent "Preview Weekend" at Princeton, Lawless is more excited than ever to begin her freshman year. "I went to Princeton (N.J.) by myself, and I met a lot of nice people, including several students who are also interested in joining the school's marching band. Princeton has a very good band program," she says. (continued)</p>
