Bowdoin better for prelaw?

Hi, I have some trouble deciding among four good LACs: Bowdoin, Haverford, Vassar and Wesleyan.
Which do you think would be the best for a prelaw student?

Bowdoin does not have a pre-law major per se. The closest would be “Government and Legal Studies” (which was ranked the #1 small college political science department in the world by the London School of Econmics. <a href=“News | Bowdoin College”>News | Bowdoin College;

But, many (perhaps most) Bowdoin grads who go to law school major in a wide range of other areas. This is the essence of a liberal arts education.

Personally, I majored in philosophy and didn’t take a single law course. I got my JD from an Ivy law school after Bowdoin and had no difficulty getting into the school of my choice. Most of my Bowdoin classmates who went on to law school got into T-14 schools. It is a feeder school.

BTW, I see from your other threads you are concerned about location. Brunswick is a great college town, on the beautiful Maine coast, and only 20 minutes from Portland, which is a medium sized, quaint city (not unlike Providence, RI). Also, there is now high speed (and cheap) train access from the Bowdoin campus directly to Boston, in case you have a yearing for the big city.
