Bowdoin hasn't received my ACT scores yet?

I sent my ACT scores to all my colleges about a month ago, and every college besides Bowdoin has indicated they got my scores. However, when I go into my Bowdoin portal, they indicate they have received my SAT II test scores but don’t say anything about the ACT. Should I just send the scores again or just hope they have them but don’t show them in the portal? My scores are probably the strongest part of my application so I want them considered.

Why would you re send the score without simply calling Bowdoin to see if they rec’d them first? Often, updates to portals can be slow or mistaken. The telephone is your friend.

@T26E4 the admissions office is closed until January 3rd for the holidays, so I was planning on calling then anyways. However, that’s also after the deadline, so I figured it might just be worth the 12$ to send them again one more time before the deadline.

Since B is test optional, they’re not going to be to uptight about your calling in the New Year.

I’d say:“I want my scores to be evaluated but the portal doesn’t indicate their presence. I’d like to see if you’d like me to re-send them. Can you check on if the scores are in my file?”

Before calling Bowdoin, you should check with ACT, to see if and when they were sent. ACT can provide you with that info

Check your ACT invoice - it should indicate if the scores were ordered and when the order was fulfilled.

You might try emailing - even if the office is closed, there will be a dated record of you trying to resolve the issue.
