<p>Don’t bash me about caring about school names and prestige because I’m just wondering.</p>

<p>What is Bowdoin’s reputation nationally and regionally (New England)? Will companies and graduate schools, mainly companies, know it’s reputation?</p>

<p>What is Bowdoin’s reputation relative to top universities?</p>

<p>What would Bowdoin’s peer schools be? How strong is its name, because people in the real world actually care about that (gasp)?</p>

<p>People that matter (employers) know that its a strong school.</p>

<p>Yea. Very strong reputation with grad schools too. Wall Street Journal did a study a few years back ranking Bowdoin as one of the biggest feeder schools for Ivy League Grad Schools (in terms of the percent of Bowdoin grads that go to them). That one’s a bit outdated, but Bowdoin still has a very good reputation.</p>
