Bowdoin Transfer

I know Bowdoin accepts only very few transfers, and their numbers seem to change a lot from year to year. Does anyone have any idea of whether they overenrolled or underenrolled this year? (affects transfers)

Don't know. Though I applied as a transfer. Did you?

I am (most likely) applying in the spring for next fall.

berthran, what stats are you applying with? will you PM me if you are accepted? I do believe Bowdoin is my first choice, I love so much about the school. But I am afraid my GPA is not as strong as it was before mono.

Sure. I will tell you if I am accepted. My stats aren't standard. When I came here 11 months ago, I took the SAT without knowing anything about it, or how they take it. I couldn't even speak English then. I had a 410V and a 630M. I tried again a month later in January and I had a 590V and 670M.
But my shool records are very high though. I have been the 1st of every class I attended since my 1st grade. Moreover, I received my Baccalaureate degree with a high mention. Right now in school, I receive only A's in Calculus, Human Anatomy/Physiology, Com. But my composition teacher keeps giving me B+ for my papers. My GPA should be 4.8 according to one friend (I don't know how you guys calculate the GPA here.) All my teachers love me. They sent recommendation to Bowdoin. You should read what one of my teachers wrote. I hope the admission commitee will notice that I can speak English now.
That's all. I've tried to tell you as much as I could. Take care ecape.

My GPA should be 3.8, not 4.8. I told you. It's strange how they calculate GPA here.
