You have a strong profile. How have you done on your AP tests? Of the colleges you have listed Colby, UVM and Gettysburg are less selective than the other schools - you should be a shoe in for these 3. GIven your strength in writing and going to writers workshop you would think Kenyon is a slamdunk. Wash U., Bowdoin, Tufts, Middlebury - it’d be better if you had a 33 or 34 ACT instead of a 32. My guess would be that you will be admitted to 2 of these 4 colleges. Middlebury sounds like the best fit given your interests. I guess if you did not apply early, it will be a while before you hear back from most of these colleges.

Ap scores are 3 in Physics B (obviously not my strong suit), 4 in US, Euro, 5 in Lang. Not great. But Thanks!

I’d love some more opinions

Hey we’re applying to some of the same schools (Bowdoin, Tufts, Colby). Your grades and test scores definitely put you in the conversation for any top school. You’re a safety at Macalaster, low match for Colby and Kenyon, high match-low reach for Bowdoin Colgate Tufts and Middlebury, reach for Wash U. Only chanced you on the ones I have an idea of. However, you didn’t include gender, income, race and location, which (whether it’s fair or not) play a huge part. Chance me as well?

White(Jewish), Male, California, more than 100000 income.

Middlebury, Colgate, and Colby seem like the best matches! I got into Bowdoin ED and would love to see you there next year! We have a lot of the same interests. Good luck!

I would call your matches Middlebury, Colby, Kenyon, and Bowdoin!
We also have very similar interests - theater kids for life!

Chance back?

Just to update, this semester I earned a 4.8 GPA and started writing movie critiques on my school newspaper and was able to get one picked up by the local newspaper.

You are solid at most of the schools listed, except for Wash U, which is becoming increasingly competitive. So, I’ll say that is the one reach…
