Bowling Green or U of Ohio

both schools have good sports management. which school is better overall ex: town, student life, campus, academics?

Ohio U...................

PS--I have been to both in the last few years. OU is scenic with a cool town and nice campus. BG has an ugly campus in a rundown boring town. OU has a much better academic rep too.

barrons - I beg to differ. My son & I went to visit & tour Bowling Green several times. The campus wasn't run down at all, and the little town was really quite quaint. Toledo is also quite close. While I don't know much about OU I'm sure it is quite similar.

lol, mominsearch, Toledo being nearby is nothing for Bowling Green to brag about..

The OU campus is FAR more attractive than BGSU. The town of Athens is much cooler and attractive than the city of Bowling Green. Trust me.

OU is a far nicer campus.

I feel as I can speak, I've visited both and my older sister is a sophomore there and my mom is an alumnus. I think BGSU is much more gorgeous, though it's strange to have a cemetary at a campus. Academically, I'd choose OU for everything except art or education, which BGSU is much better at. BG is a much smaller town than Athens, butt none of them are big towns at all. BGSU actually has a nice "city sqaure" with lots of places to shop and eat. I don't think entertainment will be a problem at either school. Sure OU has more prestige, but I myself would choose BGSU over it.

Ditto to what barrons said, I would also pick OU over BG. The town of Athens is a really cool place.
