I'm always looking for new music to listen to, and it seems that the posters on College Confidential are pretty knowledgeable about music. So, do you guys know of any really cool NEW bands - musicians that you've either discovered via the net or have heard in person in your local area? If so, who are they and who do they sound like?

Listen to NY ska Xchange. http://www.crowpsey.com/nysx/ They are based in NYC. Went to a few of their underground concerts. BTW you live in NYC right? There are a lot of really good places to listen to new bands. I go to one or two every other month.

I mentioned this already, but check out http://www.epitonic.com

Thanks guys. You rock! Keep it coming...
