As a prospective Brandeis undergraduate student, I was curious as to Brandeis’ record in getting students into top graduate/law/business schools. I’ve heard Brandeis was pretty good at this, but has anyone had any experiences with it so far?

At the moment, all options, with the exception of med school, are truely on the table. I’m kinda a quiet guy, with a passion for political science/government/history. As such, I’m not willing to commit to anything at the moment. Should I become more outgoing, I’d go for law. Otherwise maybe business, maybe PhD… all options are available.

How do Brandeis undergrads do in the graduate admissions process?

i can't give you any hard statistics, but for what it's worth...Harvard law has a list of all represented undergrad schools and Brandeis has a proportionately rather large number. Obviously not as many as the ivies or Chicago/NU would, but for what it is. and i know someone who's in his first year at UC law, and he has quite a few classmates from Deis.

i hope that's worth something. but as long as you do well you shouldn't have a problem. it's not like med school. :)

For the three cents it's worth, admisson to graduate and professional programs is more a function of you, and how well you've prepared overall, than you undergraduate school.

Whatever statistics that are out there are manipulated by schools to portray themselves in the most favorable light. As such, they are apples-oranges comparisons, at best.

Select the school that you like the best, have fun, do well, and whatever you are destined for in four or so years will take care of itself.
