When does Brandeis provide admission/denial notification to transfer applicants? I sent in my application just before the April 1 deadline.

When did you submit your application? Have you heard anything back from Brandeis yet? If so, how? Email? Snail mail?

I am still waiting for the decision. How about you? Have you received it?

Denied via email form letter today.

I was denied too. Why do you think you were denied? Could you please post your stats?

I’m not comfortable with posting stats in this public forum. I’m sorry that you were denied also. Best of luck to you.

Accepted with a 3.6 for a polsci major

Hey Congrats for acceptance. Can you please post your stats? Which institute are you transferring from?

I was accepted too. Don’t think I’ll be attending, but definitely a fantastic school.

Stats, for anyone who’s curious:
GED (couldn’t finish high school due to medical problems)
2130 SAT (CR: 740, M: 690, W: 700)
a few high 600s, low 700s on SAT subject tests
3.9 GPA in a community college
ec’s: mostly volunteer stuff, with some leadership positions within my church

And, if it makes any difference, I applied for need-based aid (I have no idea if Brandeis is need-blind or not) and I’m a history major with a strong interest in political science.

Sorry to anyone who got rejected – Brandeis doesn’t know what they’re missing out on! And, to anyone else (besides rouxyourboat) who was accepted…where are you? It’s so weird that the transfer forums for Brandeis have been so dead!
