Brandeis University Synchronized Skating

For all interested ice skaters looking for a good college to skate at in the greater Boston area, Brandeis University is now fielding a synchronized skating team. We are trying to make it an intercollegiate team with some skaters from Simmons College, in addition to any skaters from Wellesley. If you are interested in skating for an excellent university, please feel free to contact me, or reply back to this post. I can give you more information if you are interested. Don’t pass up this opportunity!

Where exactly is Brandeis? Is there a regular skating club too? Is there a cost for synchronized skating and/or club skating / ice time?

Brandeis is located in waltham, massachusetts... about 15 minutes away from boston, right off the mass pike. we also have a regular ice skating club, and we are sponsored by the university so there is no cost for ice time. however, next season there will be a slight cost for team clothing and travel. but since we are sponsored, it will not be too expensive. are you interested?

we are also hoping to have ice time for the synchro team as well as separate ice time for the freestyle skaters and ice dancers, and everyone else in the club :-)

I'm a senior so I've already applied to my schools. I applied to a bunch of schools, including Duke and Boston College both of whom have figure skating clubs. I think its awesome that you have skating there, though. :-)

thank you! good luck with your college application process! I have a very good friend on the synchro team at boston college... she loves it!
