Brandeis vs Wellesley

I am going to visit in a few weeks but would love any info cc'ers can provide!

Have you already been accepted by both?

Do your financial aid packages make them cost the same?

I went to Wellesley (about a hundred years ago), and one of my sisters went to Brandeis. There is a very different vibe between these two schools which will become evident when you visit. Brandeis feels more urban, Wellesley more bucolic. Brandeis is a university and you will compete (if that’s the right word) with graduate students for resources, but you will also have access to their resources. I think a great deal will depend on what you desire from a college experience. Of course, I am extremely biased towards Wellesley but I also believe that you will KNOW when you set foot on the campus whether it is the right place for you. I can tell you that both my sister and I found a solid group of friends, supportive professors and challenging classes and came out of our schools with a great education.

Have fun visiting!

thank you for the info! sorry for being unclear. yes i was admitted to both and though brandeis gave a me a few more dollars, that really wont be the deciding factor. Thanks!
