bras

how many bras should you bring and how often to wash? where do you dry it?

idk you tell me

Unless college changes the rate of bra degredation I would assume you would need roughly the same amount of bras as you use now, and you would wash them the same time you wash all your other clothes. Dry them the same way you dry them now.

I don’t recommend them.

I’m asking this because I’m bringing 15 bras and i wear a different one each day. is this weird?

How many do you use a week? How often do you do laundry?

I’d bring more for “just because” reasons (you get sick and can’t go wash them etc.)

15 sounds fine to me. I’m bringing something like that too, don’t remember, think I packed about 12 or 13, plus whatever one I wear that day.

I personally think 15 is a lot, but if you aren’t planning to do laundry every week-ish and wear a new one everyday (something I wouldn’t recommend), then go for it.

The reason I think it’s unnecessary to wash a bra after everyday (unless you’re an athlete or just sweat a lot) is that it’s not great for the elastic and the fabric to be washed and dried after every wear. If you swap out every now and again to let the elastic go back to normal, that’s one thing, but unless you sweat buckets it seems unnecessary.

go au naturelle instead

Yeah, I wear mine a few times before washing them. Bringing 15 is fine, but can’t you wear them at least twice before washing? ha, that’d give you a month before you’d be required to wash them!

I’m bringing between 8 and 10 depending on how many I find while packing. I generally wear them twice before washing, and then wash them on gentle cycle in cold water and hang to dry.

I’m bringing like 6 or 7. I don’t sweat a lot so I typically wear each of them a few times before washing. Just bring enough to have variation. I have one skin-colored, one hot pink, one black (my favorite), one or two polka-dot, one zebra stripe, and one white strapless. No sports bras. My regular ones work just fine, but then again, I’m barely even a B cup.

^Oh, yeah, totally agree about the variety thing. Think about what outfits you’re bringing…if you have a bunch of white shirts or other light colors, make sure you don’t only bring dark or bright colored bras. Also, make sure you have a strapless or clear strap bra if you have dresses that need that. My mom was worried about this for a new dress I bought, so we had to go to a store and get a different bra for it, of course. I need to find a white strapless one, all I have is black, but so far it goes with anything I’ve needed it for, and it’s also one where you can attach clear straps too if you want to.

Bring as many as you would like! I mean there are a lot of “excited” boys on this post telling you otherwise but you can NEVER have enough! Also make sure to pack a bunch of sports bras as well for the gym or just a low key day.

I only have 4 or 5. One is a sports bra, the rest are skin-colored. I wear them a couple times, and I do laundry once a week.

With the exception of sports bras, you shouldn’t be washing them after every where. They can get expensive (especially if you’re buying good quality ones like Calvin Klein and Victoria’s Secret), and the washing machines tear them up like crazy.

Also, it’s kind of a trend not to wear one right now. Just throwing it out there for the style conscious ladies:)

You are the hero to all men right now.

^LOL
