If anyone has survived Clark Bray's Math 103 class, please offer some advice. I'm not used to such a thorough conceptual understanding of mathematics. What can I do to improve?

Check for a PM...

I didn't have Bray, but I also found 103 difficult. My professor was good but there was way too much daily homework and the tests were very hard and conceptual. The class seems to be designed for serious math students/majors.

I recommend doing the homework as soon as possible then asking questions in class before turning it in, and also preparing a lot for the final. The final is by far the most important part of the class. I was able to increase my course grade by about 10% just from a good final (although I don't know the exact exam grade- we only got a final course grade).

Any suggestions for math class @ duke in general?
