Who actually has time for a wholesome, well planned healthy breakfast every morning? Seems like everyone usually takes something on the run on their way out the door:)) Ya not usually a smart move to eat on the run or worse skip it especially for a student. So do you guys eat/skip? What are some breakfast foods you guys choose either on the run or when you actually have time to sit down to a complete morning meal. What are some of your favorites/not so favorites.

I generally have time, but I’m in the habit of skipping it anyway (or having something small), and I need to break that habit.

I quite like over-easy eggs, and if I happen to be at a diner, I add my favorite breakfast food, corned beef hash.

Not to sound like an infomercial, but there are these things called Vitamuffins that I’ve basically been having for breakfast every weekday for the past two months. They’re super yummy. I just ordered the chocolate mint flavor!

I don’t really buy into the excuse that there’s no time in the morning for breakfast; ^those things take about five bites to eat, and a granola bar is basically the same. If you don’t want breakfast then whatever but it’s silly to say that you can’t fit in about four seconds to pick up a granola bar and eat it while you’re walking out the door.

On the weekends I love everything bagels.

I have some everyday. My mom is very caring. She would wake up 10 minutes before me to make breakfast for me. And it’s a different food almost everyday. I just have to get ready, grab breakfast, and head to the car.
Thank you mom!

Breakfast is very important. Based on my experience, I feel a lot more tired the days I didn’t eat breakfast.

Someone wanna give me some quick breakfast ideas? I’m getting kinda nauseous from eating the same old scrambled eggs and toast every morning. But i dunno what else I can cook fast. D:

I usually don’t eat breakfast— I know, shame on me.
Sometimes if I get to school early enough, I’d go to the cafeteria to get a breakfast sandwich. What I’d loveeee to have for breakfast is an actual full blown-out meal complete with bacon, eggs, toast, and fruit on the side with OJ! (: There’s a local breakfast eatery near my house that I visited once (It’s usually SOOO packed with lots of people) and I ordered an omelette. THE. BEST. Now I can see why it’s always so busy! It was stuffed with spinach, cheese, mushrooms, and corned beef hash with a side of perfectly toasted bread. It was a huge meal. Ate it all and it was worth the 8 bucks :)

I usually just have some frozen berries. Some days I set my rice cooker to cook steel cut oats in advance, so they can be done when I get up. Then I have them with coconut oil, dark chocolate, and cinnamon.

^that actually sounds really good. And i have a boatload of frozen berries. :D

Frozen berries are the best :).

I have to eat something, because I’m hypoglycemic.

I usually just eat a granola bar, peanut butter, or oatmeal.

I had oatmeal this morning.

I eat breakfast every day. sometimes it is leftovers from the night before, other times it is real breakfast food like oatmeal. I like to take time to eat, I get too hungry before lunch

I have a Carnation instant breakfast smoothie (yogurt and frozen berries) and usually some sort of bread–half a bagel, piece of toast or banana bread, etc.

I usually make tea and bring it to school in a thermos. If I’m not running around doing stuff in the morning, I’ll go and buy a breakfast sandwich. If I am, I’ll duke it out until lunch.

Strange how when you’re busy, you never feel hungry…

-wholesome
-well-planned
-every morning

No. But I usually do have something since I don’t get to eat until 12:30.

GGGRRRAAAANNNNOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAA

Disclaimer: I am not ■■■■■■■■. I just really love granola.

Go to Costco, buy huge boxes of egg and sausage muffins, then eat them until semester. Although it’s probably not too healthy, it’s better than nothing hah.

I used to not eat breakfast. I suppose I did occasionally. I eat a banana every morning now. I love them. When we run out of bananas, I grab an apple. It satisfies my tummy until lunch time. (that + the cookies my friend sometimes brings)

Planning to break my habit of skipping after senior year, when I stop having to get up so damn early. Even if I have 8:00 am classes in college I’ll probably be able to eat something afterwards.
