cals bio and society is the hardest major.

says who ;)

Because it's so full of pre-meds and pre-vets... right?

well same with cals bio and cas bio...most of those are full of premeds

heythats, i think so.
i thought just the reg bio was the hardest major, no matter what school you're in.
anyway, thanks for the pick-me-up, SuNa

Cars are useful, but you can usually get where you need to go by bus. Don't think about a car for driving to class: no parking. It's whether you want to be able to drive to McDonalds or KFC whenever you want, and whether you want to conform to the bus schedules for going to the mall or downtown. Or to go skiing. Biggest thing to me is being able to go home on your own terms: no busses (a pain) and no ride bumming (fine, but not your own terms).

I don't have a car, and wish I had one here. But I don't even have a car to bring so that's not an option. For sophomore year I will almost certainly have one.

yo sparty what about goin down to syracuse for a weekend of a day? would a car be worth it for that?

rachel where are you I have to tell you some good news!!

that is the coolest alij!

rachel what school/major did u apply for>

CAS/undecided
but i said probably classics or english.

how bout you?

ha i think you said that yesterday? ah i have a really bad memory..but im hoping for CALS biology and society

umm..... Hi, Cornell'ers.
Hope you're all recovering well from the "page of death" hysteria.
CAS/biology.

From Vancouver, Canada...... so the weather wont be too much of a change.

first off, it would be UP to syracuse, and 2nd off, yeah that'd be fun, but you can go home on a break every month or 2 so it's not like you're without mall trips for THAT long.

i envy you jrcho88

So are any of you guys in cornell yet? it seems like most people at CALS are bio majors and are looking to go med. I hope I get in, I just found out about the link, and they closed it, so I guess I have to wait for two more days.

Well, I just visited Cornell, and there is NO way I'm waiting at a bus stop for even 10 minutes in that cold weather ;) I'm bringing my car up- everyone hop in!

Although that road trip up from Florida is gonna be interesting...

hahahah ... doesn't it get pretty cold in Florida at night? well at least around Tallahasse to St. Augustine? i'm pretty sure some winter nights are as low as 30 degrees.

Not Ithaca cold, though.

Try -6F at night like in ithaca last week :D
