<p>I'm posting this on my way to the mental trauma center at Ronald Reagan after getting absolutely ravaged in the ass by his mechanics midterm. I thought i was good at math and physics(5s on both parts of physics C, 5th highest grade in my 32A class) but this was unlike anything ive ever experienced in my life. Completely blanked out and maybe got one of 3 problems. If I'm lucky. Jesus *<strong><em>ing Christ in heaven, this was a gang rape. I even saw a couple of chicks bursting into tears afterward. To those considering taking this guy, think about whether a brilliant lecturer(To his credit, Corbin did get me enthused about physics like no other) is worth the crushing blows to your morale that comes with getting blown out after studying 6 hours. Holy *</em></strong>.</p>

<p>corbin gives the hardest tests, but no worries, curveee city, and he just wants you to really try. Great guy, go to his workshops</p>
<p>yeah don't worry about it too much his midterms are always really low averaged so the curve should help you a lot...</p>

<p>IIRC last year one of my friends took his class and the median or average for one of the midterms was like 30%. That was supposed to have been an very high average compared to previous years.</p>

<p>just write down a lot of the formulas and that should get you some points... i know a friend who thought he failed the midterm (30/100) then dropped the class before the deadline and the average of that midterm turned out to be 20/100 lol</p>

<p>He's a sadist for sure but he made it very clear from the very first lecture. If you were expecting something really "doable" in the midterm then you must have slept through all of his lectures.
I blanked out too, spent too much time on the first question, don't think I even got an exact answer for that first question, only the diagram and setting up the equations. Then for the second question, I wrote a bunch of nonsense, then the third, just wrote F=ma hahaha. A lot of smart people I know also got gangbanged.
Corbin's exam should go to Guiness record as "largest number of students gangbanged in 40min"</p>
