Hello! I know that the final deadline to apply for the Bridges Program at MU was extended through 10/12 (at least for the November dates). Has anyone heard back about acceptance into the program?
Also, are there any previous attendees willing to write in about their experience? If so, how did it affect your choice of MU vs. another institution? What was the program like? Thanks!
Might be a little too late to answer this question, but perhaps this would help others. I attended last year as an out of state student and I LOVED my experience. Miami does an excellent job with ALL their programs including Bridges and all the after admissions programs they offer in the spring. At the time I attended the Bridges programs, Miami was one of my top choices. I received my acceptance letter at the end of December and my scholarship information sometime in the beginning of January. As generous as Miami was, I received many scholarships from other schools as well. I ended up choosing The Ohio State University. Many of the students that I met in the program received nice scholarships from Miami. Everything that I experienced during my two visits to Miami were very positive.
My son was accepted as a bridges scholar and attended in October. He really enjoyed it and Miami is his top choice, depending on how much money they offer him.
