Hello,
I am currently a junior-standing undergraduate student. I am not interesting in obtaining an MBA, rather, I am interested in a PhD in Business. I have had dreams since entering college of becoming the "cool professor". By "cool professor", I mean motivating students to reach their potential and conducting research, which I can apply it to the curriculum. Also, being able to go on TV and give my opinions sounds great =) (Humor intended). Teaching is a passion of mine. Hypothetically speaking, if I become a professor and they paid me minimum wage, I would still keep the job with pleasure.
From the posts on this website, to attend business school, I have the impression that work experience is a necessity for admission. I have a respectable position in my current job, which I have held since the first year in college. Will this be counted as "work experience" that business schools want? Rather, would I have to work after college for a few years to be counted as "work experience"? Thank you for your time.

Yes you have to work after college
