Have any HS seniors already applied for Bright Futures?
If so, have your test scores appeared to be verified on the Certification Page?
I sent my test scores to UF months ago and also completed the BF app in December… just wondering if/when it will be confirmed.
I find the certification page to be confusing, but I logged into floridashines.org, and was able to verify everything that has been reported to the State for Bright Futures purposes. My whole high school transcript is there, test scores, and my gpa for Bright Futures purposes. The only thing that isn’t there are my community service hours, but my guidance counselor says they have been reported. I may call if my status doesn’t change in a week or two.
I do not attend a public school, so sadly I can’t check that website. @rccoble When you do log in to the cerfication page, does it mention your score at all, or does it just say:
“Contact your high school counselor to review your status toward meeting Bright Futures initial eligibility.
If you are a public high school student, you may wish to visit www.FloridaShines.org to view your submitted test scores.
FDOE collects SAT and ACT scores one month after national test dates for students who: 1) list a Florida public high school code on their test form, or 2) request their scores be sent to one of the 12 Florida public state universities or 28 Florida colleges (formerly community colleges). If any of your scores are not posted above, please contact SAT at 866-756-7346 or ACT at 319-337-1313 to request a “corrected score report” (with SSN, first name, last name, DOB, and gender matching your high school transcript) be sent to one of the public state universities or Florida colleges.”
@twoinanddone I will most likely be calling them before summer to confirm verification if it isn’t updated already on the website; I’m just wondering if there is anyone else in my shoes.
