Bright Futures

Anyone know when the deadline is to submit SAT/ACT scores?

I know this isn't technically the correct forum, but I didn't know where else to ask.

Thank you.

Below is the link for the admission deadlines, including SAT/ACT etc…

[University of Florida - Admissions](Freshman - How To Apply - University of Florida)

Thanks, but I’m asking about Bright Futures, not UF.

May 31, 2013 midnight, But why wait till then submitted now, if you qualify. If you don’t qualify as of yet retake as many times as possible until May 31

Thank you! I have 1260 and I really need the FAS (which requires 1290 probably for this year), I’ve taken the SAT 4 times and I don’t know what to do anymore.

Have you taken the ACT? Also, with a 1260 you’ll get the second highest scholarship.

I took it last year and did much worse since I didn’t study for it. I know but, I’m so close to the third one that it really bothers me.

Hate to say this but since this is in the UF section, I’m assuming you’re also trying to get into UF. Unfortunately, a 1260 SAT score is pretty weak. I hope your excluding the writing component?

Yes, I am. My total is 1910.

What about the deadline for submitting the community service hours for Bright Futures? My scores and GPA qualify me for the highest scholarship…but I’m about 30 hours short of the requirement. I’ve been stressing out about getting them done because I’m so busy with work and school.

Deadline is May 31, 2013. If you spend at least one hour for 30 days between now and May, you’d have your 30 hours. It’s not that hard, to be honest.

Thanks! I thought it was in March or something…the hard part is finding a time and place to volunteer that doesn’t conflict with my work or school schedule. But I’m sure I’ll figure something out soon enough…

^^^^

Still wasting your “valuable” time here while you could just of had volunteered a few more hours.
In my opinion, you are not ready for college if you are unable to find 30 hours to spare between now and the next three months.

Wow, okay. I said I would find the time to get them in. And I actually do work 30+ hours a week, on top of 4 dual classes and regular high school. I’m busy. But my time management skills are alright, thanks. I’ll get them done.
