So I took the AP Calculus AB exam today. After Section A, we’re supposed to seal the pages, right? Me, in my stupidity, managed to stick the seal all the way to the front cover. Like, you’re supposed to fold the sticker over so it seals only Section A, but I sealed the entire booklet shut, pretty much. I didn’t even realize my mistake until after the exam when everyone was putting on the rest of the seals. So, I had to basically peel off the seal and stick it back on the correct way. Obviously there was an apparent mark left. And the sticker lost its stickiness, go figure. So, do you guys think this will invalidate my score? I’m hyperventilating right now.
I personally doubt it. The main goal of the seals is to make sure the test questions are secure, and sealing an extra page does not make it less secure. I also did that and am not too worried, in fact I had no clue that it was the wrong thing to do.
If you are really worried talk to your ap coordinator, they theoretically have the tests still in the school (but locked up). The coordinator might be able to check if your booklet is fine.
@Cubby208 Thank you! My mind is eased a little now.
