I believe we should to be able to keep ourselves on the track so that we are not lost by brown’s open curriculum.
I like you tetris and think its rather nice of you to share so many of your ideas N stuffs, but moderation, fella, moderation ;-)

are you not a native English speaker runil?

@poorplayer: I believe I am not a native English speaker, as in, no my mother tongue is not english. However, I am competent enough to read Harry Potter books( and write a 11-page discourse on the relationship between Albus Dumbledore and Harry Potter and the obvious homosexual overtones present in the relation, made very clear in the last movie)

Let’s not get lost, guys.
Deadline is 10 days away, and I have not written my commonapp essay(my supp is done; the prompts were easy).

Do you think writing about my experience translating stuff from English to my mother tongue’d be a good idea?
Thanks in advance :)

well its been a while, but it was good to hear your perspective, paperflower. i feel EXACTLY the same way!

so 10 days. its all we have and i am kicking myself in the butt for procrastinating, which was extremely stupid. i feel like i still have so much to do (common app essay & both short answers ahhh!) but im crossing my fingers that i can pull this off. wish me luck! and good luck to everyone else, i cant believe how soon it will be until it is all out of our hands and into theirs!

also, im just curious, but has anyone had an interview yet?

Ugh, I’ve still got to finish both essays. On the bright side, I’m going to Brown next week and hopefully I’ll get recruited for the equestrian team!!!

I’m worried that I waited too long to apply and that now I would not have as great of a chance. I finally broke down last night and ever since I’ve been doing nothing but thinking about Brown and why I think I would be the happiest there.

Final touches on all essays. Final letters of recommendation need to be sent still.

putting the final touches on my common app essay…sent in supplement last week. waiting for sat scores for next week. going to brown on saturday though so that should be fun.

ahhhh we just have to push through !!! *motivational speech here *

Hey guys I sent my app. In a week ago and still haven’t recieved a confirmation email, does anyone know if that’s normal?

I also sent my stuff in on 10/11 and have not gotten a confirmation e-mail. I called admissions office today and they said not to worry. They will be downloading a large batch sometime next week and we should all get e-mails then.

Tetris, has it been two weeks yet? I know you’ve been watching! What’ll you be like December 10th?

1 weeeeekkk AHHHH!!! I’m freaking out

limabeans: are the decision results coming out this year at 5pm EST Dec 10th instead of the 15th?

hey im going early too. but does anyone else think the application is ridiculously long!!!

dancedance…I have absolutely no idea when these things go out…or even if it’s by email or letter. However, I’m sure anyone who’s applying ED will certainly be waiting for the word well before 12/15.

It’s still Dec 15th :)

JoEm… ummmm the application is actually short for most people… 2 essays + 3 short responses.
Try applying PLME :p… the 2 additional essays hurt… :(

yeah, im doing the engineering one. it sucks. but i mean, to be honest, i havent seen a longer supplement. i mean i cant imagine there being one longer.

@poorplayer: wait! isn’t that TWO short responses? OMG Whaddid I miss out; I’ve done why brown, n why choose majors of ur choice…

runil,
he’s including common app essay and short answer!

I had to break my ban to reply to PMs.
