My friend just showed this to me:

It’s a countdown until Brown Early Decision Results are announced.
Now, this shall be the only thing I look at every hour.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaah i love it!
but are you sure its accurate? bc i’m pretty sure there’s like 35 days till dec 15, but it says 32 days

time is ticking awayyy! every second! yet i feel like its FOREVER till i get my decision)=

Nope! I just counted on my Laptop Calendar, and the countdown is totally correct. It’s one of my home pages now…hahah.

32 days 16 hours 12 minutes 58seconds

aaaaaah

Hahaha. Stopppp, you’re making me significantly more anxious. I want my interview. Then, maybe, my anxiety will somewhat subside…

does anyone else feel hopelessly hopeful?
i just want this soo bad!

but no, i MUST BE OPTIMISTIC!
LETS ALL JUST ONCE SAY

“I CAN GET INTO BROWN UNIVERSITY!”

Ivy and I were just discussing how, despite our futile attempts to not get our hopes up, we seriously NEED to go it. Yes! Optimism is key!

questionnnn:

what does it mean when people say “bump” here?
i just see it being used here, and i’m just utterly confused-_____-

Okay, so let’s say you start a thread on some question you have regarding Brown that you need answers. If your thread goes–in your opinion–too long without being responded to, you bump it, and thus make it appear higher on the list.

If nobody replied to this ED thread for a few days, I would “bump” it in order to put it back on the front page.

That was a terrible inarticulate way of describing it, but I’m beginning to crash, haha.

ohhhh okay
then how do you bump something? is there a button?

I CAN GET INTO BROWN UNIVERSITY!

…frantically knocks on wood.

hahhaahhaha

To my fellow class of 2014 hopefuls, this is my gift to you, stolen from the RD decisions '13 thread:

Decision: ACCEPTED
Stats:

* SAT I (by section): m: 520, w: 670, r: 680.

Subjective:

* ECs listed on app: student council, school chorus, select chorus, rimea, model legislature, tons of volunteering, school musical, among other things. i’m too excited to remember them all.

Location/Person:

* State or Country: rhode island.

General Comments/Congratulations/Venting/Commiserations,etc: stunned. i’m not the typical accept, so i think it speaks to the fact that CHANCE THREADS ARE ********. if i’d posted these stats in a chance me thread i would have got burned up. and don’t tell me it was affirmative action because i still had to compete against thousands of minority applicants with 4.0s and 2400s >:[ congrats to other accepts, hope to see you in the fall!

See? Just be who you are, it’s totally possible to get into Brown without the typical Ivy stats. It gives me a little hope, at least. And right now, we all need what little we can get!

OH. MY. NON-GOD.

You, my dear, just made my night significantly better, and I am forever indebted to you for showing me this. I LOVE YOU. Now go online. =]

And Hope–you don’t need a button or anything. Just reply to the thread and say “Bumppp” or something else that’s equally as obnoxious.

Gives me hope<3

Inspiring. WORD.

And my bad for messing up on what Waterfire was blushes

My interview is this sunday!!! I just got the phone call a few hours ago :)

Good luck!

my interview is coming up… is it at all strange to be having it at a Jamba Juice? hahahhaa
