<p>Does brown have wireless internet on campus? What about in dorms? Edit: actually, after searching I found that it does, but the post is old, and so I’m still wondering, is the wireless updated now for coverage everywhere?</p>
<p>brown only has wireless in some places. most of the dorms actually don't, aside from the commonrooms. other places that have it are the usuals -- library, popular hangouts, etc. its actually not a very extensive network...</p>
<p>They have it in the libraries, the study lounges, all the buildings on the main green, and some other places... Pretty much all public places.. Most dorm rooms dont have it, since they all have ethernet connections instead..</p>
<p>i don't like wireless here.
and if you're getting a cell, don't get verizon. get cingular.</p>
<p>if you are looking for wireless specifically in your room, you can set up your own personal wireless network too.</p>
