@layla2016 All Ivies except Yale (SCEA admit) and Columbia (LL), Haverford, Vassar, Stanford, and Amherst.
has an existential crisis right before bed
HEY GUYS. Since everyone is doing this - I’ve been accepted into Gatech, UMich, PSU, OSU, UWMadison, UIUC, and Purdue. I’ve been rejected by Northwestern (Early Decision - Northwestern will always be the one for me), and UCLA so far. Waitlisted at UChicago. Still waiting on Berkeley, UCSB, UPenn, Cornell and Brown. As of right now, my top choice is UIUC (#engineering), but if I get into any one of the unis I’m still waiting for (except UCSB), I’ll go there. International kid btw - still 16 years old.
@tuty143 totally me though, not gonna lie
@McKilla99 Your stats and major?
Late to the party but I got accepted to BC, northeastern, Lehigh (early write), Georgia tech, case western, and Rutgers. This week I got wait listed at Pomona and Uchicago. I’m convinced that for the remainder of my top schools I’ll be stuck in wait lists or rejections… :(( Still trying to stay optimistic though!
Btw you guys are all super awesome with your acceptances and early writes/LL, I hope you all continue getting great news
Ivy day is so close!!
@Way2uni 2320 SAT, top 5% of my class with 96%, 100%, 83%, and 91% in 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade (12th is predicted), in the CBSE curriculum - one of the hardest in the world. 780s in Math 1 and 2, but 660 in chem (lol). Major is Materials Science and Engineering.
When my D checked the brown portal at “Eligibility Requirements for Aid Year 2016-2017”. It now shows a Brown ID number. Is this a good sign – or does everyone get a Brown ID number?
@PentaDad I have one also… I think everyone gets one
@PentaDad, I have one as well. I’m pretty sure everyone gets one! (I wish that was a good sign though.)
@zimzamzoom Where to check this?
Everyone gets a Brown ID number. It was assigned when your portal was created. If you matriculate there you keep it.
Late but I got into UMich, Fordham, UCLA, and Northwestern. Brown has been my #1 for 2 years so I’m praying
@Way2uni If you’re on your self-service account, you can view your ID by going to Financial Aid > Undergraduate Students > any of the options. It should appear next to your name under “RETURN TO MENU | SITE MAP | HELP | EXIT” on the right side of the page. It’s nothing special though; it’s always been there. Good luck, and don’t worry! (Or worry, I can’t really stop you. We’re applying to the Ivies LOL)
not ready. scared. anxious.
Late but accepted at cornell(diversity letter), Johns Hopkins, Emory(likely letter), UT, UCSD. Rejected at UCLA. Still waiting on Brown and NYU!
Do you guys think they have all the decisions made by now or are still working?
They might still be working on it
Just really hoping they say yes…
