Thursday, July 10th, Brown University is holding a college fair in Rhode Island. It's the 17th annual fair, so I have a simple question: is it any good? I'll have to travel two hours from Massachusetts and I want to make sure it's well worth it! Thanks in advance! :o)

You might as well just go to the university itself if your going to travel that far. Btw, Where in MA do you live? I'm in Cambridge.

I'm in Western Mass, right by Springfield. I love the Boston area!

I went to Brown's fair a couple times (was in the area anyway.) It definitely had a higher caliber of schools than my public high school had at its fairs, but of course there could always be more. It didn't "inspire" me but it was a nice resource since I was there anyway. The list of colleges coming is here: Summer & Continuing Studies@Brown if that helps. Also, you could make it into a daytrip with a parent/friend(s) so it's more worth the drive. Brown's campus, College Hill, and Providence can be quite nice to hang around in the summer, as long as it's not too hot. Best of luck!
