For those of you that have had Brown interviews, what types of questions did they ask you? What was your experience? I am trying to prepare for my interview and any information would be super helpful.

hi, my D19 had her Brown Alumni Interview on Wednesday. The interviewer was super nice, put my girl at ease and congratulated her on being a strong candidate. Based on what I mostly read on the Brown Interview FAQ and answers, we did not think he would’ve seen her application, grades, ECs, etc, but he definitely had, since he brought up many things directly from her app and definitely knew about her grades and classes.
crknwk2000 – this is simply impossible. Interviewers do not get any of this information at all. I’ve been interviewing for years and this year is no different than all the other years – we do not see the application, grades, classes, etc. I find this extremely disturbing if what you say is true, because the only ways an interviewer could see an application is if the student provides it, they somehow got it from the high school, or they hacked into either the HS or Brown’s computer system.
Yes, I was surprised, too. My daughter brought nothing with her, but said he definitely knew some details. It was fine, but she was surprised since I told her he wouldn’t.
@fireandrain just talked to D19 who is on her way home from Tahoe. She said that her interviewer googled her to get info about her, so you are correct…no application was shared. Sorry for the confusion!
