Brown PLME Students help plz!

Hi,
I’m currently a sophomore, aiming towards Brown’s PLME program.
I know that science research is almost essential in getting to the program.
For those who are already in the program or got in this year, what do the admission offices for this program look for specifically?
What is the minimum high school GPA required to get into the program?
What kind of other unique extracurricular activities have you pursued during high school?

Godslove: it will be much more useful for you if you search PLME posts in this forum, then bring questions to us once you’ve found out more.

There is no minimum high school GPA for the program.

I’m sorry but the way you presented youself, I don’t think you have a shot at PLME, let alone Brown.

1. You clearly reveal that you are doing ECs JUST to get into PLME, no passion, no meaning. Admissions counselors can sniff out pretentious person like a dog. They want to see a person who did ECs because they love what they are doing, not because they want to get into college.

2. Why do you want to be a doctor? I mean from what I see, you are not exactly doing research because you are interested in it, you are doing it to get into PLME. Also, from your post, it seems that you haven’t found a EC which actually says: Hey this made me want to be a doctor.

3. Be proactive, you can’t rely on others to find the answers for you. You can’t ask others what they did and copy them. They did it because it fits their personality, chances are, it won’t fit you and it will be very obvious to the adcom.
