Funny - the article made the author appear snobby and elitist - exactly what he thought he'd find at Princeton.

That article sorta sucked.
How many sweeping generalizations can one make?

I want my 1 minute of life back.

internet is life. well, it is mine at least. how sad... :(

Meh... interesting (in a not-so-good way) article.

I should have meditated instead. I feel like meditating.

Or philosophizing.

I feel like watching Sex and the City, but whatever floats your boat!

LOL I actually watched 2 episodes on "In Demand" today.

I'm all sexed out.

And BTW, I'm still very comfortable with my masculinity, thank you very much. :D

PS- 1,900th post! once again, dedicated to the Brown board!

Haha. Yay, a dedication. Arent we all just special?

I dont have HBO, but comcast had this sweet deal where we got a free subscription and all we had to do was call this dude! I must take advantage of it...if still available. He gave up knocking on our doors.

Anyway, my friends and I just go rent it. I could use a Hollywood Video card. $hit, I could use a job too. Hmm...a job at Hollywood Video.

I can just imagine the applications Princeton must get get that say "It has nothing to do with you. I love the CC board." lol

oh my god...laughing my ass off at that one. but hey, Princeton has received essays in answer to the question "what's the biggest risk you've ever taken" with the two words "This is.", so who knows.

again, so funny. You know, I used to haaaaate Sex and the City...then, when I realized that I just hated CARRIE, I realized that Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte are all awesome, along with some of their guys (Big, Aidan, Steve, etc.) In summation, On Demand is awesome, Sarah Jessica Parker is not.

You Brown boarders are cool - I spent about two weeks debating whether or not to apply and in the end decided not to. Listening to you guys, I wish I had! lol. But SOMEONE applied to Brown on my computer - on the day of the deadline at around 11 30, his computer started malfunctioning so he had to drive over and use mine. It was so funny, watching him contemplate whether or not to submit an optional photo of Abraham Lincoln, and then adding "freeing the slaves" or "leading the nation through Civil War" on his activity sheets...then as he pressed submit he was like "There! BEGONE!" I bet you guys'd all be friends if you all get in lol.

And wow, I forgot who made the observation about four successive posts ending in "-ol", but your observational skills just ROCK.

hehe. awww. Carrie isnt that bad. But she's a pretty crappy main character if I do say so myself. Did you know that Cynthia Nixon(Miranda) is a lesbian? Isn't that cool or what? Yeah ok, I'm easily amused.

Princeton has a ton of posts because my girlfriend posted the heck out of it

Yea thanks honey.

.< I don't post that much anymore. I have a life I swear!

Oh and I applied to both Princeton and Brown and I love them both.

I also love Sex and the City, but hate Carrie.

I would like Carrie a lot more if she didn't spend $600 on shoes every time she has a mini-crisis.

lmao. Coping mechanism! Are you jealous because you can't afford 600 dollar shoes Rabo? ;)

rabo........................................ is the above post true?, lol

I want one pair of $600 shoes. Damned size 12(woman's) feet.

Oh and Manohlo Blahnik's, I am not sure of the spelling, are only about $400 each. So see she doesn't spent $600 all the time only on special shoes.

maybe the leftover 200 dollars goes into those horrid accessories she has on sometimes

oh please, I find myself plotting the death of that zygote-gone-horribly-wrong with every "outfit" she decides to prance around in...

KIDDING! i'm not homicidal or creepy lol.

Spiked, I didn't know Cynthia Nixon was a lesbian, but that's pretty cool that she could have announced that to the world with no problem. I really respect that.

In other news, Carrie's shrieking, which puts in a cameo appearance every other episodes, is worse than nails on a blackboard, or hearing Ashlee Simpson attempt what most people refer to as "singing". Big and Aidan and even the politician who wanted her to pee on him are WAY TOO GOOD FOR CARRIE!

And you want to know something? When I was at Brown, incidentally, summer before junior year, some woman stopped me on Thayer and asked me if I was Sarah Jessica Parker. Me! 4'11", looks-like-a-ten-year-old me. Lol I was so insulted! I was like "Do I really look like I'm forty?!", terrified that I did lol

So, if we ever meet in person. Can I refer to you as Sarah J. as a joke? Hahahahahaha

Ugh... I, too, dislike Sarah Jessica Parker...

But I love Brown! :)
