to springboard off all the talk about liberal-ness and the recent rise in Brown’s applications, here is an interesting take on Brown student politics

The point of the article was that Princeton isn't the anti-Brown. But aside from that, how dare they associate Princeton with northern Jersey...It's clearly smack dab in the center of the state.

As a newcomer here I assumed the reason why the Princeton CC site (with over 25,000 posts) attracted so many postings was that the school had been consistently ranked at the top of all the recognized, national undergraduate rankings. However, yesterday, I asked I asked CCers at the Princeton site, why the school attracted so much interest. The answer was refreshing and quite different than what I had expected. Hopefully, while searching for schools, CCers will find this same element elsewhere. It may be a telltale sign. It also may explain why Princeton alumni donate at the highest rate in the country (see US News). Heres is the thread:

I was going to apply to princeton if rejected ED, but not really because I knew anything about it. Mostly it was because I had been following the princeton board and the people seemed cool.

ehh the article was amusing. but somehow i don't think that every brunonian is dripping liberal blood and that every princetonian is a stale old cracker.

besides, who needs eating clubs when you can just smoke on wriston quad? lol
