Rejected :frowning:

Did anyone get a very nice rejection letter recognizing how “Thoughtful” your application was and acknowledging your “accomplishments”? Or is that just standard fare, haha?

Also did anyone get accepted in this wave? Seems like today was rejection day, haha.

Does Brown do waves for transfers? I didn’t receive any emails today

That’s probably a good thing for you, src9889, as it seems like all the people that were notified today were rejected.

I never got the email, it just showed up on my application status page. You should check there @src9889

Rejected. Doesn’t feel good lol

Got waitlisted

Did anyone get accepted…? xD (I got rejected too btw)

I got accepted for the spring!

I ALSO GOT SPRING ACCEPTANCE!!!

Rejected

Brown was not a top choice of mine and I got until other top choices, so it’s no big deal for me.

Congrats to those admitted!

First Rejection letter I receive for the transfer season lol
disappointed but not too sad

I got accepted as a junior transfer! I found people posting accepted stats helpful so I’ll try to return the favor:
College: top 20 Liberal Arts
Major: Philosophy
College GPA: 4.0/4.0
HS GPA: about 3.7
ACT: 33
Recs: excellent. Two professors I knew extremely well–benefit of transferring after two years, frankly.
Essays: probably like 9/10. I talked about physical illness that kept me out of high school a lot at the beginning. I talked about why I wanted to transfer for academic reasons related to pursuing Philosophy. I talked about why I thought I would be able to handle the challenge of transferring a little at the end.
Extras: I did the optional video submission because I thought it demonstrated some interest in the school. Told the story of my first day of school in another country when I was a kid, which was a way to add extra info to my application.
Hope this helps! Congrats to all who got accepted.
