Brown Username to check status? I only have a PIN? What?

<p>How do i use their "check app. status" feature? it only gives you a username option, but apparently I only have a PIN. hmm?</p>

<p>Yea, I was sort of confused as well...
I am guessing they will send you a username and password couple weeks after you send in the 2nd part of the app. But why would they give you a PIN for the 1st part of the app?
Confusing.
Anyone know?</p>

<p>you get your username after you turn in part 1. you should have received it via regular mail.</p>

<p>what happens if you haven't recieved it by now. i turned in part 1 of the app weeks ago and i don't have access to my mail currently because i am out of the country on an exchange, do you think i can get brown to email it to me?</p>

<p>They state it here:
"(User names and passwords are mailed 2 weeks after we receive your application.)"</p>

<p>Probably they may "recieve" it however not process it. Who knows. If you are worried enough then call the admissions office after due time.</p>
