<p>once you reach the leve of academics that are offered at Brown and Pomona, it no longer matters what it says on your diploma, but what you do during the 4 years you spend earning it. </p>
<p>Both are academically topnotch, just pick what you feel comfortable with.</p>
<p>I wouldnt say Claremont has LA "next" to it. It's a long ride and worlds apart. Also large parts of LA is just urban communities. You need to get all the way to the west side for any kind of fashion and entertainment.</p>
<p>look im from connecticut and if youre looking for new york, LA isnt the same thing, or even relatively close. However i go to pomona and if you want to go to LA its insanely easy and relatively free (unlike the MTA, they never check whether you bought a ticket, honestly weirdest thing ever). What im trying to say is that if you really want to go to LA, it honestly is "right there" (and free)</p>
