Bryn Mawr

I’m a junior in high school. My GPA is pretty average, 3.4 unweighted and 3.9 weighted. I have a 1420 on the SAT, but I plan to get a 1500+ when I take it for the last time in August andI took three subject tests. I do a lot of music, such as my school choir, all-girls a cappella group, girl choir for my area, and all state choir. I volunteer every Sunday to teach kindergarteners and I was accepted to be in the Urban Teacher Academy this summer. I would like to be an elementary school teacher. What are my chances of getting into Bryn Mawr? Also, what more can I do in order to improve my chances of getting in?

No one can answer that. If someone on this thread claims they can or tells you that you have a good chance (or a bad chance), you should take that with a grain of salt. My gut says that you are in the ballpark. Do well your first semester of senior year and write a killer essay in your application.

To add a bit to PlasticNebula’s answer with regard to improving your chances…

Show interest in the school. Attend meetings in your area / in your high school if offered. Tour BM. Interview. If you have decided that BM is the school you definitely want to attend, consider applying early decision if possible.
