Brown PLME accepts around 1 international a year, I know about students from Eastern Europe and Asian.
However, these people were definitely very strong applicants when applying.

You are welcome. By the way happened to check Pitt’s med class profile (they too have BS/MD). If you place it side by side and compare with BU SOM profile (forwarded earlier), one can get a picture that the chances may be brighter at BU for those with citizen ship or residency status issues.

That’s why suggested to do similar checks for all the programs offering this pathway. Then you can make judicious choices on which programs to apply to and focus more effort on those.
If things get better this application cycle and you are planning to visit colleges, better ask the admissions folks there dealing with these BS/MD programs directly. We found a lot of such first hand information during such visits prior to C’s admission cycle few years ago. If not, try emailing and calling.
Edit:
Also found this under the “Application process” section of BU SOM (traditional route)
" International Students
International students who have a degree from a US or Canadian accredited institution, located within the US or Canada are welcome to apply. If you hold a non US or Canadian accredited degree, you must have completed at least 2 years of US or Canadian accredited advanced education, including all prerequisite courses. Non-US citizens and DACA students should be aware that unfortunately Boston University School of Medicine has limited scholarships and financial aid available for non-US citizens."
The best place to find out which medical schools (NOT BS/MD programs) will consider international students for admission is MSAR. (Medical School Admissions Requirements)
This is annually updated database hosted by AMCAS. Subscription cost is $29 for 1 year.
MSAR will also have information about coursework required for admission and data about the GPA/MCAT scores of accepted students by decile.
Hey PSB11, I am also on a H4 visa and I am a freshman in SLU med scholars(semi-bs/md) program. I will be happy to help you with applying to bs/mds as a H4. I know the difficult situation that you are in and I have faced the same problems that you have. **** IMPORTANT**** there is a recent immigration reform bill called Reconciliation bill which if passed will eliminate the problem of H4 age outs by giving daca and H4 green cards****** please message me and I can get you in contact with organizations that are actively working to get this bill passed and solve all of our problems!!!
Hi, I am in same situation as yours. My DD wants to pursue medical but I am not sure what are her prospects of getting into a medical college. She is on h4 visa as well. Did you get any luck with ways of fulfilling this dream?
