BS/MD Programs in the U.S. that Accept Canadians/International Students

I was wondering if anyone knows or has a list of which BS/MD programs accept Canadians. Thanks.

@JoshuaPMathews,

While there are many private med schools such as Boston that admit international students who have had their undergrad completed in US or Canada, it is very unlikely at the BS/MD level for few reasons.

  1. Many BS/MD programs are primarily for instate students or have strong preference for them.
  2. Programs like at Brown, though have good number of seats in the program, are driven by overarching Ivy league admissions policies unfavorable to ORM (Asian origin primarily) candidates, in case you happen to be one.
  3. Programs at UPitt or Baylor or GWU have either so few intakes or sky high expectations that it is practically impossible to get in.
  4. That leaves a handful of programs like Northwestern or Boston with any realistic chances, but the competition is fierce even among US based students.

It may actually be more realistic for Canadian students to complete undergrad and try here in traditional route. Besides, Canada itself has so many top notch med schools worldwide going traditional route such as Toronto, McMaster, BC, Alberta …
