*** BS/MD Interview Notification for Class of 2014***

Just received email from Drexel SOM to pay the $150 fee (applied to Lehigh UG) so I guess colleges are still reviewing and forwarding to Drexel.

Rochester emailed that review for REMS is ongoing and interview notifications will occur by Feb 1. The Interview Program webpage is already up in case anyone wants to take a look (search for REMS when you are in MyRoc) - its says 50 will be invited to interview.

Thank you so much SLCMom, it appears my son is invited. On REMS page it says “congratulations! … You are one of only 50 students selected to interview out of hundreds of highly qualified applicants. The interview is a mandatory part of the selection process.” Is this it?

in 2012 four out of state students got accepted to uconn bs/md program

yes out of state students

@cresent thanks

My daughter is invited too for rems programs. On Rems page it says "congratulations You are one of 50 students selected to interview.

Has anyone applied to uconn’s bs/md program

@class1417 @cresent where are you seeing the interview status for REMS?

Sorry did not mean to mislead, the Interview Program page is up, but one cannot register unless an invitation is received - my daughter has not gotten one yet but hope we all get lucky! Just thought people might like to get an advance peep at what Rochester is planning for its interview weekend.

Email from Rochester regarding her undergrad application (she asked because it is marked as “incomplete”): Your application is actually 100% complete on our end. You will receive a decision letter by April 1st (REMS notifications are being made this month, and these decisions are mutually exclusive).

Login to MyRoc, search for REMS interview program, click home, then there is the message. But it does not have my son’s name, Now I think it is probably not a invitation for him.

My son got his “Pay up” email from Drexel Med School today. I presume its for the Robert Morris/Drexel program since Robert Morris forward his application to Drexel a few weeks ago. He has, however, also applied to Kean, Muhlenberg, and Rosemont.

@cresent, my son applied to Uconn and we are out of state.

@class1417 and @ slcmom What do you mean search for REMS on my Roc? I do not see anything…

Again sorry for the confusion; I just thought people might like a peek at the information but as far as I know interview notifications (and invitation to register for the Interview Program) have not been sent.

If anyone has started receiving interview notifications please share!

I shall now go out into the yard and eat worms in penance…

Has anyone else not heard from Drexel undergrad? My file was forwarded to the med school but I haven’t heard anything about the undergrad portion. My online account says my file is still under review but it has been almost 3 months…

@MedicalBoy my status is the same for Drexel and no email received yet to pay the free even though I was told that my app was forwarded

Shimmeringaway, nice to hear I’m not the only one.

Drexel, nothing from undergraduate, but he was finally asked to pay yesterday.

SLCmom, it’s no biggie. It made me happy for couple of hours. :)

Thanks for your graciousness! Fingers crossed that we will all receive happy news soon…

Isn’t Drexel brilliant? They made us all so happy to pay that $150 application fee.

@class1417 I had visions of hitting the pay button and receiving an immediate automatic notification that he was rejected. you know what I mean?
