To all GW applicants, my friend got an email on Jan 10th for an interview on Feb 10th. So, do not lose hope. Interviews should be ongoing through February, so it is not late! Call GW to confirm.

REMS interview notifications have been sent.

^by email?

@CAJ2014 Are you sure that your friend got the GWU 7 year med interview or just the undergrad one. I called GW and they said they haven’t sent out any interview notifications yet…

Yes, by email. The letters are in the mail.

thanks for relaying the info

@starlight27 - you mentioned that your application to DUCOM through Villanova was rejected this Monday. How were you notified? Did they actually email you the rejection?

@Wasian88, I am positive. She said that the email described word for word this: “Thank you for applying to the George Washington University’s (GW) Seven-Year B.A./M.D. program. The Admissions Committee is pleased to offer you an interview for the program and invites you to campus to participate in our B.A./M.D. Interview Day on Monday, February 10, 2014, from 7:30am to 4:30pm.
During the day, you will interview with a representative from GW’s School of Medicine and Health Sciences (SMHS), meet the Dean of the SMHS and the Director of Undergraduate Admissions, speak with a health profession advisor, and attend an upper-level course for pre-med students. In addition, you will have the opportunity to hear from students currently in the B.A./M.D. program and learn how they put knowledge into action in the field of medicine.”

So, it is definitely not undergrad, clearly it is the medical school interview. But do not worry, most probably you will get an email soon, in a couple of weeks. Feb 10th is rather early, and I am pretty sure interviews will be going on throughout the month.

Son got the email from Rosemont yesterday and was not chosen for interview for the 3+4 Rosemont/Drexel program. But he will still be considered for the 4+4 program, which the actually the program he prefers. The decision for that, apparently, will only be known in mid February. Anyone got the Drexel interview for the Rosemont/Drexel 3+4 program?

@IMGDAD, I too got the email about not getting the interview for the rosemont 3+4 program but being considered for the 4+4 program. Good luck!

@GreenSage, sorry to hear that you are having the same response as my son. As I have mentioned previously, there is not the hurry to graduate and practice. The best time in your life is when you are in college. A good compromise is to get into a 4+4 program and be assured of a place in the medical school without having to be worried about applying during your undergraduate years so that you can enjoy four years of undergraduate and do interesting things such as more clinical shadowing, research, and community service.

@happy2014- I called Villanova and they told me that I wasn’t invited for an interview. I also emailed, and this was their response:
“We have been notified that this past Monday, Drexel University selected the applicants they wish to inteview for the affiliate program with Villanova University via email. If you did not receive notification from them, you were not chosen to participate in the next round. If you applied through another school other than Villanova, it is possible that you may hear from Drexel for an interview.”

Rejected from Case Western’s program

@PCHope, I didn’t get an email from REMS… are you sure they emailed? I thought it would be Feb 1st when they send notifications for interviews. Anybody else get an email from REMS??

rejected from case western program

Also rejected from Case Western. No REMS email yet.

No interview for Case Western.

how do I know whether I have been selected for PPSP?
