BS-MD programs - How do you time the whole process?

From the time you apply (that is easy), to the time of interviews (can be tricky), to the time of accepting the offers (very tricky). I am really wondering if there are any specific deadlines to commit to any colleges? For example, if you had been accepted by local state colleges under early admission process then let's say it takes couple more months for a better school to let you know (bad news or god news), would it not be dangerous the local state college withdrwas the acceptance since you did not commit to the offer?

I am thinking of applying for at least 10-12 colleges. Every college has different time slots for deadlines and handing out acceptances and rejections. How do you balance the whole act?
Thx

^Application could be tricky, interviews are usually easy, just be yourself, they do not care what you know, they care that you are truthful. Acceptance / commit to offers is the same fair game as all others outside of combined programs.

START EARLY. You know you’ll need a personal statement, so get that out of the way over the summer, and start looking at the websites to see if you can find prompts ahead of time. I applied to 16 schools and the timing was intense. You can find specific due dates on program websites, but here’s a general outline:

November-January 1st: Applications (mostly you do the combined program supplements, but for some, you only complete the undergraduate application. Also, I second MiamiDAP. They can be tricky.)
January-February: Any more applications–basically all program supplements. Also, you start interviewing at the end of January.
February (& early March?): Interviewwwwws.
Mid-March & first week of April: Hear back.

From what I understand, you don’t need to commit to a school until May 1st. Of course, take my advice with (several) grains of salt. I’m in the process now , and every school has specifications.
