if this makes anyone a little bit more calm, i spoke with my state representative and they are still making decisions until the last minute on your ultimate decision as well as financial aid, if you didn’t see anything with the glitch, a may be a result of you simply hadn’t had ur decision and financial aid complete yet. good luck everyone!!

Does anyone know what the ED acceptance rate generally is? I know it is a higher acceptance rate than RD, but does anyone know by approx. how much? Also, what the average stats are for ED students at BU?
last year they accepted 1462 out of 4877 applicants (30%). Page 19 of the CDS https://www.bu.edu/asir/files/2020/06/cds-2020.pdf

Yes. Typically schools do not have much difference in ED1 vs ED2 admit rates. ED2 can often actually be a stronger pool for colleges in this tier, as ED2 applicants typically either (1) have applied to and been rejected/deferred from a “higher ranked” /more competitive college in the ED1 round, or (2) were those who waited for further information that they expected to strengthen their application (test scores, mid year grades, awards etc).

everywhere I’ve checked says the 15th but everyone on here says today so I’m not sure
Most sites take BU’s date of “No later than December 15” to mean December 15, but usually, the decisions come out before then. That’s my understanding.
