BU SMG vs Marshall USC Undergraduate Business

Hey guys,
I know, there have been many posts asking about peoples' opinions on whether they should go to USC or Boston University for undergrad business, but I still can't decide! I've read all those I could find.

So I plan to do Business Administration, with a concentration in finance. I'm from Malaysia, but I've lived in Singapore for a long time.

I got a dean scholarship at USC, and a presidential scholarship at BU (which is $10000 more than the dean's at USC).

From what I've read, everyone seems to be saying to USC is better. But is it worth paying $10000 more per year to go to USC? I can afford it, but I don't want to burden my parents too much now, especially since they're reaching their retirement age!

What's important to me:
Strong alumni (especially in Asia)
- I've read that USC has a stronger alumni, school spirit, and the alumni is very helpful. But is BU's too?

Employers' perception (which is regarded as 'better' or more 'prestigious')
- I've read that even in the East, USC is regarded as better than BU? And what about Asian perceptions? I've had some people tell me that USC is a 'party' school, and that BU is very prestigious. But then again, I've heard vice versa.

Business/Entrepreneurial environment
- I hope to start my own company one day. Which university have a more enthusiastic entrepreneurial environment, or more helpful links?

Thank you so much! I'm in a huge dilemma here.

Right now I will tell you that BU is the obviously better choice to begin with. I am a student at SMG and I cannot even begin expressing the level of prestige the name of the school holds not only at BU, Boston, the US but also the east. I am an Asian student and I can only let you figure that the fact that I am taking this time in my summer break to write out this response to you should tell you about the level of school spirit at BU. Everyone loves it here! Oh and take the extra money.

USC is the better school and certainly the better UG business school. However, you should consider what you can afford. If you can afford the 10k, I would go with USC.

Complicated but I would say yes.
BU is nowhere near USC. USC goes with BC not BU. USC has much higher endowment, higher reputation, higher ranking, better student to faculty ratio, much better program for Business. This is Business Administration we are talking about, not computer science. Reputation matters.

^ Actually, most international rankings have BU slightly ahead. I am not sure about business rankings however. Students to faculty ratio appear to be even as USC has more students but also more faculty. In terms of college ranking, BU is ranked 51st while USC is ranked 24th. So there’s a bit of a gap but note that a decade ago, USC was ranked just slightly outside the top-40. While USC is generally considered more prestigious, the difference may not be as large as you may think.
