so if in orientation, i signed up for BUAD-304 instead of MATH-118 (I qualified for 118), do we take calculus second semester, after one semester of organizational behavior? or is it the next year? i tried asking several of the marshall advisors, and for some reason, i never got a straight answer from anyone.

and, are most people who are taking BUAD-304 this semester those who've already taken calculus in h.s., or didn't qualify for 118? to make a long story short, i didn't want to take calculus immediately (i'm taking econ too). thanks!

I'm not too sure, but I don't think it matters which order you take BUAD-304 and MATH-118. I don't think BUAD-304 is a prerequisite for MATH-118 or vice-versa, if that's what you're asking. I suppose that in your case (and assuming your schedule is already set for the fall semester), you would take MATH-118 next semester (spring semester).

I'm going to be taking BUAD-304 this semester along with MATH-118. My circumstance is a little different than yours (as I am going to be a sophomore taking business prerequisites in order to apply as a BUAD major). In my case, I didn't score high enough on AP Calc to bypass the math requirement, but I took a placement test during orientation (last summer) that allows me to take MATH-118 (or MATH-125, but I'm going with MATH-118).
