My son received the email as well. Don’t forget to click on the links and log in to check your document status as they’ll know you did.
The email definitely is geared to improve yield however schools are also interested in keeping their acceptance rate low.
Therefore, Bucknell would not encourage applicants who were likely to be denied to withdraw their applications (this would actually increase their acceptance rate
Does anyone know if being accepted into the engineering school is difficult for a female student? Just trying to see if I stand a chance
never recieved this
They have just sent an email saying that decisions will come out on the 28th sometime after 9 PM EST.
wow thats so late
We received the email today.
Did anyone else get an email on March 18th about the release date?
im sure everyone in the RD pool got that email about the release date.
Does anyone know what time Bucknell releases decisions this Thursday?
@Jaspers 9:00 PM EST I think
@misspeanut Thanks and good luck Thursday night
So funny that they release their decisions after Ivies
Do they assume/hope more kids commit to somewhere else before they release the decisions?
I THINK THAT IS EXACTLY THE CASE SO THEY GET A HIGH YIELD
But then applicants would have to have withdrawn their application, otherwise it would negatively affect their yield.
yes thats why they do late to include those who withdraw
Bucknell is my number one choice, so I’m hoping for good news tomorrow!! It’s the last college I’m hearing from, and I couldn’t be any more nervous! I’m asking for full aid so idk what’s going to happen
@misspeanut - Good luck tonight (9PM). Bucknell is the last school I am waiting on. It was the first school I visited during the search process. Hoping for good news
@Jaspers Thanks! Good luck to you too!
