thanks for your replies

Two of the best programs for this and most of what else you "seek" would be Babson College in Boston and on the West Coast you have the University of Southern California.

The best program for you is at Babson College

Entreprenueurs are born, not trained. Don't buy into the hype than any particular school has any magical teaching methods....Just get a good solid background in whatever interests you and anyone can learn the mechanics/fundamentals of running a business should it be necessary! You can also hire people to do the tedious stuff.

If it was all hype, I don't think Babson College would exist, because that is what the school prides itself on.

I'd say that that is what the school MARKETS itself as. And since it doesn't have much competition, its rarely, if ever, called on it! For instance, how many other schools actively market themselves as entrepreneurial schools? I can't think of too many....Keep in mind that I'm not dissing Babson by any means, its a solid business school, but I just don't think you can "train/educate" the entrepreneurial spirit. Just my opinion, though.

That's fine, I agree with you, that the best are born with those skills, but Babson can make you one if you're not.

The OP clearly stated she wanted a social scene. Babson vs. USC?

Come on.

Yeah, my sisters at Wellseley, they get all their guys at Babson and MIT, Wellseley pay for escourt transportation to the two schools, so the Wellseley girls are delivered to your doorstep!

But yeah, you don't have a lot of great options so I'd just apply to:

Babson
MIT
USC
UPenn

And then any others, but those four should be on your list.

San Diego State, big school, very social, one of the best programs in the nation according to nasdaq. check it out.

as to a post above, I do have to clarify my previous post as to the social scene aspect. You'll probably find a great one at Babson and in Boston. Other than football game day (5 or 6 out of the year) there is not much that goes on at USC. There is the greek system, if you're into it. Dorm life ain't much there and after your freshman year housing is on your own for the most part. The neighborhood around USC is horrible and you're pretty much left to fend for yourself in Los Angeles. If you're not familiar with that city, good luck.

Babson supposedly has no social life.
Schools at the shore:
UNCW, College of Charleston, Flagler, Miami, UC-SB.

"San diego state was ranked among the top 25 regional universities for entrepreneurs in the U.S. in Entrepreneur Magazine's Top 100 Colleges and Universities for Entrepreneurs list for 2005."

Being in a more business oriented enviorment I think it's a much wiser choice, it's also very small. Any rankings you will find anywhere always place Babson college is 1st in entrepreneurship. From your freshman year your given a 3,000$ loan to start, run, and liquidate your own business. I beleive all profits go to charity (check out the website). Even if you can get into anything more prestigious entrepreneurs rely on themselves, they are self made so no one will be there to praise your IVY league education. I Suggest Babson.

I understand that babson is number 1, but the OP was looking for..."i am VERY SOCIAL PERSON i would really like to go to a school that has a large campus and lots of students.....it is very important that the school has VERY LARGE SOCIAL/PARTYING SCENE......nice ladies wouldnt hurt either"

SDSU - undeniably has a top ranked program, is large, lots of parties and has lots of good looking girls.

Well this may sound a bit crazy but Indiana University--Bloomington has a top ranked business program as well as top 10 entrepreneurship according to USNEWS AND also is supposed to be a really big party school. Indiana is not as bad as people think.
