<p>Why not combine the two? NYC is only a 1.5 hour train ride. It seems that you’re in the cat bird seat, really. Just take some additional time off of school – I don’t think they’ll miss you that much</p>
<p>wish i could, but i’d be going to new york with family, and they want a specific date. 
that might be a good idea about the train though…</p>
<p>EDIT: i’ll have to look at yale’s calendar. maybe i could cut my NYC trip short or add on a day or two in new haven? although it’d be over memorial day weekend. is anyone still there that late?</p>
<p>Not regular undergrads - graduation this year is on the 24th, and non-seniors leave well before that, right after their exams are over.</p>
<p>^yes, i thought about it, and that’s what i figured. plus, it will be after may 1. i’m not sure how to resolve this problem.</p>
